I would have gotten closer, but it hunched back and jumped at me once, so this was as close as I was getting. I believe it's a female wolf spider, which are supposed to make up about %7 of the Ohio spider population, but I sure as hell have never seen such a large spider in Ohio before.

Actually, I was wrong. It's a female fishing spider, thanks to WeirdBugLady and pitbulllady for pointing that out.
Oddly enough they're both ladys with what seems to be an incredible knowledge of spiders.
